Roy-Hart bests Somerset in Midget ‘A’
A big seven run third inning scoring burst sparked Roy-Hart to a 15-4 victory over host Somerset this evening in a Lockport Midget ‘A’ League game.
Eight walks and a single by Charlie Brigham put Roy-Hart in charge in the decisive frame.
Brandon Heschke also had a two-run single on the evening for Roy-Hart as Karl Darling and Chase Bohall both added doubles.
Preston Harris had 3 hits for Somerset including a double and triple as Brian Voss and Eddie Wasnock both added doubles.
Walker Samanka went the distance on the mound for Roy-Hart scattering 7 hits and striking out 1.
Roy-Hart is now 2-5 and Somerset 5-3.
