Roy-Hart/Barker wrestlers edge Medina

Three forfeit wins, worth a total of 18 points, proved decisive as Roy-Hart/Barker downed visiting Medina 36-31 in a Niagara-Orleans League wrestling match this evening.
The Mustangs took 6 of the 9 bouts that were decided on the mat including pins by Brody Fry (190), Cole Herman (215) and Reece Senske (116) along with technical fall wins by Luke Duffina (131) and Austin Seefeldt (160) and a decision win by Ethan Carson (285).
Two of the Mustangs falls were of the sub minute variety. Senske’s quick pin of 49 seconds was his milestone 100th career victory. Fry’s pin came in just 50 seconds.
Joey Jopp (138), Luke Fay (145) and Dean Kirsch (153) all scored pins for Roy-Hart/Barker.
Roy-Hart/Barker is now 3-1 in N-O action while Medina finishes the dual match portion of the league season at 0-5.
A quick sub minute pin earned Medina’s Reece Sense his milestone 100th career win.
Wilson 46, Albion 27
Six pins keyed Wilson to a 46-27 N-O win over Albion.
The Lakemen got pins from Tyler Goff-Brown (138), Victor Cusatis (145), Henry Wortkoettor (190), Dominick Lopez (215), Hamza Merrick (285) and Blake East (124).
Jaxon Lynch (152) and Drake Schomske (116) both had pins and Noah Marat (160) a decision win for Albion whose other 12 points came on two forfeit wins.
Wilson finishes the dual match portion of the N-O season at 4-1 and Albion at 1-4.
Albion will host the N-O All League tournament on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
