Roy-Hart/Barker tops Akron in youth football

The Roy-Hart/Barker loyal Varsity Division youth football team won 33-0 at Akron on Saturday.
Quarterback Mike Alexander hooked up with receiver Matthew Aquilina for touchdown passes of 60, 35, 40, and 25 yards.
Alexander also added 50 yards rushing while Aquilina had a forced fumble and recovery along with a pick six as time expired for an impressive 5th touchdown on the day.
Zander Rodriguez and Max Townsend added some nice runs on offense while Wyatt Giarla had a strong game defensively as a usual, stuffing the Tigers offense and helping secure the shutout.
It was the second win on the season for the Rams.
