Roy-Hart/Barker posts win at Tonawanda
Making it two wins in a row, Roy-Hart/Barker defeated host Tonawanda 26-14 in a C North Division football game this evening.
Quarterback Tysen McCaa led the Roy-Hart/Barker offense with 2 rushing touchdowns and a 26 yard TD pass to Ashton Ark.
The Bulls defense also came up with three big turnovers. Ark had a pass interception which he returned 73 yards for a touchdown and Jackson West a pick which he returned 45 yards. Wyatt Sherman also had a fumble recovery.
The Bulls rolled up over 300 yards in offense including 246 rushing and 71 passing. McCaa had 131 yards rushing.
Roy-Hart/Barker is now 2-5 and Tonawanda 0-7.
The Bulls will close out the regular season by hosting Franklinville/Ellicottville in an interdiviional game next Friday night at Barker.
Alden 42, Akron 26
Alden improved to 5-1 in the C North Division and 6-1 overall by downing host Akron 42-26.
Akron is now 3-4 in the division and overall.
