The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club Hockey team hosted league leading 10-1 Wilson/Newfane Saturday evening and came away a 3-2 winner.

Ironically, the only game W/N had lost this season was to RBM back in November.

The opening period rendered no scoring for either team and set the stage for what appeared to be a low scoring and close contest.

In less than two minutes in the second period, however, W/N scored two fast goals.

Before the end of  the period though a goal by Dominic Peracciny (R-H) with assists from Ryan Mettler (R-H) and Nick Wood (Akron) gave RBM life.

At the 12:33 mark of the last period, Peracciny scored again, from Mettler and Wood, to tie the game.

Four minutes later, Wood got the game- winner from Colin Dodge (R-H) and Mettler.

Credit the defense for a game well- played.  Dodge, Reed Winslow and Jason Kuchey, all R-H, Trevor Crawford (Akron) and Jacob Harris (Barker) all made contributions and goalie Andrew Warner (Tonawanda) earned the win.

Tonight, RBM has another home game against St. Joe’s of Buffalo at 6:10 p.m.
