Scoring in every period, the RoyHart/Barker/Medina/Akron Club hockey team team traveled to Jamestown Sunday and defeated the home team 4-0.

The contest was a big rematch for the RBM squad which defeated Jamestown last season for the Section VI Championship, but lost to them in the New York State title game.

Jason Kuchey (R-H) opened the scoring at the 4:50 point of the opening period unassisted.  Less than two minutes later, he scored again, assisted by his brother, Michael.

The 2-0 score lasted to the end of the next period when Rhett Wagner (Medina) scored on an assist from Jason Kuchey.

Dylan Kryzkowski (Akron) ended the scoring with an unassisted goal at the end of the game.

The RBM defense was outstanding throughout the contest as was the goalending by Andrew Warner.

Now 3-4-1 on the season, RBM’s next game is a return match with Jamestown at home next Saturday at 9 p.m. in the Cornerstone Arena.
