Roy-Hart/Barker Bulls prep for debut

After competing as the Roy-Hart/Barker/Lyndonville Silverbacks the last couple of years, this fall it will be the Roy-Hart/Barker Bulls which will open the season by hosting Burgard in an interdivision game at 7 p.m. Friday.

The Bulls will be led by the veteran group of seniors Jackson Webber (Offensive Line/Defensive End). Josh Hahn (Center/Defensive Line), Jake Maracle (Offensive Line/Defensive Line), Jake Gould (Wide Receiver/Defensive Back) along with juniors Alex Ark (Running Back/Defensive Back), Dan Aquilina (Wide Receiver/Linebacker), Wyatt Sherman (Running Back/Defensive End) and Aidan Mescall (Running Back)

Sophomore Anthony Adinolfe looks to get time at running back and linebacker.

Senior Blake Schwab and sophomore Tyson McCaa are vying for the starting quarterback position.

“We’ve got a good returning core group and if we can make things jell this team could be scary,” said Coach CJ Knight.

Friday’s opener will also feature a tailgate event from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. with food venders and games. Buffalo Bills super fan John Lang will be on hand to give the pregame introductions.

Bulls Schedule: Sept. 1 – Burgard, 7 p.m., Sept. 8 – at Newfane, 7 p.m.; Sept. 15 – at Albion, 7 p.m.; Sept. 22 – JFK, 7 p.m.; Sept. 29 at Medina, 7 p.m.; Oct. 5 – at Eden, 7 p.m.; Oct. 12 – Cleveland Hill, 7 p.m.; Oct. 20 – Akron, 7 p.m.
