Roy-Hart ‘9’ trims Niagara Falls
Scoring four quick runs in the first inning, Roy-Hart went on to down host Niagara Falls 7-5 in a non league baseball game this afternoon.
The Rams grabbed the quick lead on a solo home run by Brayden Hy, an RBI single by Sean Mettler and two fielders choice plays. A leadoff triple by Jake Gould ignited the uprising.
Roy-Hart upped the lead to 7-0 by scoring three times in the top of the third on a two-run single by Gavin Heideman and a fielders choice play. A walk and a single by Rem Albee triggered the uprising.
Gould and Heideman both finished with a pair of hits.
The Falls rallied for three runs in the bottom of the third and two more in the fourth but could not pull even.
