Roy-Hart ‘9’ downs Sweet Home
A pair of first inning runs proved to be more than enough as Roy-Hart defeated host Sweet Home 4-1 in a non league baseball game this afternoon.
John Conley and Jake Gould both had 2 hits for the Rams as Ryan Mettler and Ethan Kuzma each had 1. Conley’s hits included a double. Kuzma drove in 2 runs and Mettler 1.
Mettler pitched 4 innings allowing 3 hits and striking out 3 and Brayden Hy hurled 3 frames allowing no hits and fanning 9.
Now at 2-0, Roy-hart next visits Lockport at noon on Wednesday.
