Rotary Club’s Pickleball Tourney wrap up

The Medina Rotary Club’s second annual Pickleball Tournament concluded this afternoon at the Medina High courts highlighted by the gold medal win by the team of Will Soos and Aaron Schreiber, defeating Sabel Bong and Tim Hayes in a close match, 11-9!

The Pickleball Tournament had the following winners, listed by event:

MEN’S DOUBLES ADVANCED MEDALISTS:
Gold – Lucas Cherry (Titusville, PA) and Steve Bittinger
(Sherman, NY)
Silver – Scott Read (East Amherst, NY) and Alan Pawlinski (Lockport, NY)
Bronze – Tom Hayes (Williamsville, NY) and James Stevens
(Tonawanda, NY)

WOMEN’S DOUBLES INTERMEDIATE MEDALISTS:
Gold – Karen Redding (Buffalo, NY) and Hannah Munley (Buffalo, NY)
Silver – Jody Gillette (Spencerport, NY) and Christy Cotton (Grand Rapids, MI)
Bronze – Holly Christiano (BUFFALO, NY) and Cori Moses (Eden, NY)
