Riverside rallies past Medina JVs
Rebounding from a 10 point half-time deficit, host Riverside rallied to defeat the Medina JV football team 22-16 Saturday in an interdivisional game.
Ronnie Koonce passed 12 yards to Johnny Salone for one Medina touchdown and ran 4 yards for the other TD.
Koonce also passed to Salone for one two-point conversion and Iszon Richardson ran for the other.
Salone also had 10 tackles and an interception on defense.

Medina bows in tourney final
Medina dropped a 25-27, 25-15, 15-9 decision to Akron Saturday in the finals of the Silver Division at the Starpoint volleyball tournament.
Emily Kams had 30 assists, 10 spiking kills and 14 assists, Molley Gross 18 kills and 7 digs, Je’ne Brown 8 kills and 4 blocks and Meg O’Keefe 25 digs for Medina.
