Rhim’s Brockport football team honored; Botello on FLCC volleyball title team

The SUNY Brockport Athletic Hall of Fame recently inducted the 2002 football team whose roster included Medina High graduate Lionel Rhim.
The 2002 Golden Eagles squad won a school record 1- games and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III tournament.
Interestingly, one of Lionel’s sons, Jarin, is a freshman wide receiver on this season’s Golden Eagles football team.
Botello on FLCC Volleyball squad
Holley graduate Adriana Botello is a freshman member of the Finger Lakes Community volleyball squad which captured its second straight Region III Division B playoff championship.
FLCC defeated Jamestown Community College in 4 sets to repeat as Region III champions and earn a second straight trip to the national tournament.
Botello has 33 service aces and 18 spiking kills to date on the season.
