RH/Barker/Medina icers top Wilson/Newfane
The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club Hockey team defeated Wilson/Newfane this evening 7-1 for their third straight Western New York Club League victory.
For the second game in a row, the winners were led by the Kuchey Brothers, who again accounted for a total of five goals.
RBM started the scoring on a goal by Michael Kuchey. Joe DiBenedetto added a goal off an assist from Matt Saj (Medina) for a 2-0 lead. W-N scored near the end of the period.
In the opening minute of the next period, Jason Kuchey scored with assists going to Tom Paisley and Michael Kuchey), followed by two straight goals by Michael Kuchey assisted by Drew Marsh (Akron) and Paisley. That period ended with RBM holding a 5-2 advantage.
The final period saw a Michael Kuchey and Marsh each score a goal.
Now 4-4, RBM next faces Cheektowaga at Cornerstone in Lockport this coming Wednesday at 8:20 p.m.
