R-H grad heading to softball nationals

Roy-Hart graduate Taylor Fry and her Herkimer County Community College Generals softball teammates won the Region III Championship at GCC in Batavia, on Friday defeating Monroe Community College 9-1 and 6-0.
Fry, a 2015 Roy-Hart grad, and the rest of the Generals will travel to Rochester, MN for the NJCAA Division III Softball National Championship May 19-21.
Fry, a Criminal Justice Major, has appeared in 23 games and batted .684 with 15 runs scored and 5 stolen bases.
Herkimer, which is 43-5 on the season, has been the Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference Champions for 7 consecutive years. This is their fifth straight NJCAA World Series appearance, having won the title in 2013, finishing runner-up the last 2 seasons.
