Resident questions why town official has campaign signs on his vehicle

For the last several years I have observed the questionable behavior of Murray Code Enforcement Officer, Ron Vendetti.  Mr. Vendetti is both the iron-handed boss of the dominant Republican Party, but he also serves a critical law enforcement function for the town.

Unfortunately, he has no sense of the difference between the two functions, and he conducts his official business from the front seat of his personal vehicle which is often decorated with bumper stickers attacking his political enemies and promoting his hand-picked candidates.

We would never allow political signs on police cars or judges’ vehicles, so why is any branch of law enforcement allowed to behave this way? On September 13, please join me in voting for Joe Sidonio so we can start to clean up our town.
