Renovation work resumes at Vets Park
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Work has now resumed on Phase 2 of the renovation project at Medina’s Veterans Memorial Park. Today workers began erecting the framework for the large new permanent grandstand on the south side of the park.
The Phase 2 work, in addition to the new grandstand which will include a press box, will also include the repositioning of the two light standards on the south side which were taken down last fall as well as a new entrance area.
Here a portion of the framework for the grandstand was unloaded this morning.
By late afternoon the grandstand was quickly starting to take shape.
