Reds, Yankees and Twins score wins

Youth Baseball

Reds 7, Braves 3
The Mark’s Pizzeria Reds beat the Somerset Braves 7-3 this week to go 4 and 0 on the season.

Brody Fry pitched 3 strong inning and had 2 strike outs.  Jimmy Dieter pitched final inning and added a strike out.

Fry led batting as he went 3 for 3 with a single, a double and a home run and 3 RBI’s.  Dieter also went 3 for 3 and scored 3 runs.  Riley Tompkins went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored.  Brady Christiaansen went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and Avion Johnson had 1 RBI.  Colton Smith also added 2 hits.

Yankees 9, Athletics 2
Ryleigh Culver lead the attack for the Yankees  in the 9-2 win over the R-H Athletics going 3-3  with 2 doubles and a single and 3 RBIs. Sawyer Lilleby had 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Cameron Kenward and Aiden Oberther also had doubles with an RBI each. Laraya Guy, Brennan Woodruff, Breydin Miller and Liam Castricone  all had singles.

On the mound  Culver, Miller and Castricone all pitched well.

Twins 10, Phillies 0
Will Prest went 3 for 3 with a homerun, triple and a double for the Bogan Tuttle Twins in the 10-0 win over the Hartway Phillies. Cole Callard and Jackson Shlutz also went 3 for 3 while Tyler Allen, Sawyer Kingsbury and Carlos Doval all went 2 for 3 .Also chipping in with hits were Aleksander Seefeldt, Lex Gray, Maxime Pilon and Lukas Grimes.
