The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina  Club Hockey team dropped a narrow 3-1 decision to Jamestown in the  WNY Club League Championship contest this afternoon at the Key Bank Arena.

RBM tied the game at 1-1 with seven minutes remaining in the third period on an unassisted goal by Nick Wood (Akron).

To that point, RBM had played a great game, especially Andrew Warner in goal.  However, they could not stop Jamestown in the waning moments as the Red Raiders scored twice to claim the win.

Jamestown entered the game with a 15-4-1 large division record.

In their three years of existence, RBM now has one WNY title and two second place finishes.

Next weekend, RBM travels  to Jamestown for the New York State Club Championships, being played Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There will be four downstate teams plus four WNY teams in the Small School Division.  RBM has placed second in the state the last two seasons.
