RBM icers play to tie with Orchard Park
Completing a weekend home and home series, the Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club hockey team played to a 3-3 overtime tie with Orchard Park Monday evening at Cornerstone Arena.
Connor Ernest (Wilson) opened the scoring assisted by Lawson Wallworth (Roy-Hart). OP tied the game by the end of the period.
RBM regained a 3-1 lead in the second period. Luc Wagner (Medina) gave RBM the lead with assists from Jack Goehle (Newfane) and John Peracciny (Roy-Hart).Wallworth then lit the lamp assisted by Brayden Lepsch (Wilson) and Holden Burkhard (Newfane).
Orchard Park, however, scored the last two goals tying the game.
Neither team could score in the overtime period.
Devon Derda (Newfane) was in goal for RBM.
RBM next travels to Cattaraugus Ice Rink in Irving to face ELPS, the current top team in the division on Friday evening at 7 p.m..
