RBM icers drop regular season finale
The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club Hockey team completed their first season of competition with an 8-3 home loss to Wilson- Newfane Saturday. RBM finished with a record of 7-11, highlighted by an early season five game winning streak.
RBM opened the game with a 2-0 lead within the first five minutes on two goals by Drew Marsh with assists going to Dylan Kryzkowski and Jason Kuchey.
However, W-N cut the lead to 2-1 by the end of the period and then scored scored five unanswered second period goals for a 6-2 lead.
W-N continued the pressure with two more goals in the third period, before Michael Kuchey added the final goal of the game for RBM.
Playoffs begin Monday evening and RBM is seeded third in the Mixed School bracket. They will host ELPS (Eden- Lake Shore- Pioneer- Springville), the sixth seed, at 9 p.m..
