RBM hockey team downs St. Joe’s
The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club Hockey team got back on the winning track Saturday night beating St. Joe’s 7-2 to put their season record at 4-1.
RBM took a 3-0 lead in the opening period on goals from Colin Dodge (R-H), unassisted, and power play scores from Dominic Peracciny (R-H) and Nick Wood (Akron). Assists went to Jason Kuckey/ (R-H) with two, and Ryan Mettler (R-H).
In the middle period, Kuchey scored unassisted. Then RBM scored twice within eight seconds for a 6-0 lead. Wood and Kuchey scored those goals with Jake Harris /Barker) and Peracciny getting the assists. St. Joe’s did score before the end of the period.
In the final stanza, Mettler scored with Akron players Trevor Crawford and Wood assisting.
Once again, Andrew Warner played a great game in goal.
This afternoon, RBM travels to SUNY Fredonia for a 4:40 p.m. game against Dunkirk- Fredonia.
