RBM hockey team downs Orchard Park

Returning to the ice after the holiday break, the Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club Hockey team defeated Orchard Park 4-3 in a Western New York League game Friday evening at West Seneca.

After falling behind 1-0 in the first period, RBM took control of the game in the second by scoring three times.

Luke Wagner (Medina) opened the scoring on a power play with an assist from Jackson Hauser (Barker). Shortly afterward, Brayden Lepsch (Wilson) scored from Lawson Wallworth (Roy-Hart). Completing the scoring in the period, Jack Goehle (Newfane) netted a goal with assists going to Joel Harris (Barker) and John Peracciny (Roy-Hart).

In the third period, the eventual winning goal came on a shot by Wagner from Holden Burkhard (Newfane) and Paul Lassman (Wilson)

Jordan Johnson of Medina picked up the win in goal stopping 25 of 28 shots.

RBM will complete the home-and-home series by hosting Orchard Park on Monday evening.
