RBM hockey team bows to division leader
The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club Hockey team dropped a 5-2 decision to division leading (10-1-1) East Aurora/Holland Friday evening in a Western NewYork Club Hockey League game at the Cornerstone Arena in Lockport..
Goals by the division’s top scorers (Dominic Zittel and Brock Roldan) in the first two periods helped East Aurora/Holland build up a 4-0 lead.
RBM got on the scoreboard later in the second period when Dylan Krzykowski found the net off an assist from Jason Kuchey.
In the final period, EA-H added a goal before an oddly deflected shot went into the goal for RBM credited to Luke Luckman, unassisted.
On Saturday, RBM lost 8-2 to St. Joe’s Maroon team at the North Buffalo rink.
Kuchey and Krzykowski scored the goals for RBM.
RBM, which is now 6-7 next hosts division foe City Honors/Cardinal O’Hara at home on Monday night at 9 p.m.
