RBM hockey team bests Lancaster
The Roy-Hart/ Barker/ Medina/Akron Club Hockey Team defeated Lancaster 7-4 today at Depew in a Western New York Club Hockey League game.
Falling behind 1-0 in the first minute of the game, RBM rebounded by scoring twice later in the period on goals by Nick Wood (Akron) and Jason Kuchey (R-H) with assists from Jason Kuchey and Drew Marsh (Akron).
Lancaster though pulled even at 2-2 before the end of the period.
However, the second period was all RBM as Dylan Krzykowski (Akron) scored two goals off assists from Michael Kuchey (R-H), Mitchell Johnson (Barker) and Tom Paisley (R-H) and Dominic Peracciny (R-H) scored a power play goal on a great pass from Marsh and an assist from Jacob Harris (Barker).
With the 5-2 lead, RBM continued to score in the last period upping its advantage to 7-2 on tallies by Wood and Krzykowski who completed his hat trick. Jason Kuchey and Tagen Decker (R-H) earned assists.
Lancaster scored two goals late in the game.
Now 2-2-1 on the season, RBM returns to action next Sunday afternoon with another game at Depew again against Lancaster
