It was a tough weekend for the Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club hockey team which lost 7-3 to Buffalo on Saturday and 4-3 to West Seneca today.

In the Saturday game against Buffalo, RBM fell behind 3-0 in the first period before Austin Woodward (Wilson) scored unassisted.

Buffalo added two goals in the second period before John Peracciny (R-H) also scored an unassisted goal.

In the third period, Woodward added his second unassisted goal. The visitors added their final two goals before David Ward (R-H) scored from Woodward.

This morning against West Seneca, Woodward opened the scoring in the first period with an unassisted, shorthanded goal. The visitors evened the score before Ryan Fellicetti (Wilson) hit a power play goal.

In the second, West Seneca scored twice to take a 3-2 lead before Gavin Ickowski (R-H) evened the score on assists from Fellicetti and Nate Downey (R-H).

With 4:09 left in the game, West Seneca scored the game-winner on a powerplay.

A rash of injuries and other factors made it so there were only 8 or 9 skaters available for RBM for either game. After having a record of 5-1 earlier in the season, they are currently 5-5.

RBM’s next game is next Saturday night against Lancaster in Depew at 7 p.m.
