Maintaining sole possession of first place the Albion Raptors posted a 2-1 win over host Penfield in a key Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U19 Division game Wednesday evening.

The Raptors took a 1-0 first half lead on a penalty kick goal by Abby Scanlan.

Penfield tied the game in the second half but the Raptors answered back with what proved to be the winning goal off a corner kick by Scanlan.

The Raptors improve to 6-1 while third place Penfield slips to 4-3.

The Raptors will next host runner-up Gananda (4-0-2) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Genesee Community College.
