Avenging an earlier season narrow 4-3 loss, Roy-Hart downed host Wilson 6-2 this morning in a Niagara-Orleans League make up baseball game.

Breaking away from an early 1-1 deadlock, Roy-Hart took the lead for good at 4-1 by scoring three times in the third inning on an RBI single by winning pitcher Gavin Heideman and a sacrifice bunt by RJ Townsend which plated two runs.

Townsend also singled in two big insurance runs in the top of the seventh upping the Rams lead to 6-2.

Heideman had a total of 3 hits on the day and on the mound allowed only 2 hits and struck out 8 in five innings of work.

Roy-Hart and Wilson are now both 1-3 in N-O action.
