Boasting a good nucleus of eight returning regulars, Roy-Hart is prepping for the September 7 Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer opener at defending champion Wilson.

Roy-Hart split a pair of meetings with Wilson last year as the Rams finished the N-O campaign at 5-4-1 and the Lakemen at 7-2-1.

The Rams veteran contingent includes seniors Colby Hancock (Goalie), Noah Hardy (Forward), Clayton Keyes (Defender), Brendan Saia (Midfield) and Matt Scott (Midfield) along with juniors Aidan Bligh (Forward) and Dom Peracciny (Defender) and sophomore Trent Choate (Midfield).

Bligh, who earned first team N-O All-League honors, led the Rams in scoring with 10 goals and 5 assists.

Hancock, Hardy and Keyes all earned second team All-League honors and Choate was an Honorable Mention selection. Hardy had 6 goals and Choate 4.

“We’ve got a lot of great experience and we’re pretty solid at every position,” said Coach Greg Martillotta. “They really put the work in during the off season. We’ve got quality and quantity so I’m excited about the season.”

The Rams will tune up for the N-O season by hosting CSAT on September 5.
