Rams romp to non league victory

Leading by a narrow 2-0 margin, Roy-Hart erupted for seven runs in the fifth inning to key a 15-1 victory over Cleveland Hill in a non league baseball game this afternoon at Gasport.
A three-run triple by Joe Nolan highlighted the decisive uprising for Roy-Hart which also included a double by Ben Maynard and singles by CJ Fitch and Sam White.
The Rams then put a lock on the win by scoring four times in the sixth as Brendan Hess had a two-run single and Al Xapsos a triple.
Hess, Nolan and Maynard each had 2 hits on the day.
Aaron Metz pitched the first four innings to get the win striking out 7.
