Rams roll to N-O soccer win over Mustangs

A quick three goal scoring explosion in the first 13 minutes ignited Roy-Hart to a 6-0 victory over visiting Medina/Lyndonville in a Niagara-Orleans League soccer game this evening.

Peter Martillotta opened the scoring for Roy-Hart with a goal in the first six minutes off an assist from Elijah Giroux. Trent Choate followed up with two quick goals over the next six minutes the first coming on a rebound shot  and the other on a breakaway.

Choate later scored his third goal of the evening and Martillotta his second as Rem Albee also found the back of the net for the Rams.

Martillotta also had two assists and Albee one.

In other N-O action, Akron defeated Albion 7-1 and Wilson nipped Newfane 1-0. Corleone Plain scored the goal for Albion.

Standings: Roy-Hart 2-0, Akron 2-0, Wilson 2-1, Medina/Lyndonville 1-2, Newfane 1-2, Albion 0-3.
