Rams rally to post win over Wolverines
Rebounding from an early 5-0 deficit, Roy-Hart rallied to defeat host Niagara Falls 10-7 this afternoon in the Rams non league season opener.
Erasing the deficit, Roy-Hart rallied to take the lead for good by exploding for seven runs in the fourth inning on a pair of RBI singles by Brayden Hy along with RBI singles by Rem Albee, Zach Walker, Ethan Kuzma an RBI sacrifice fly by Jake Gould and arun producing fielders choice play off the bat of Sean Mettler.
The Rams stayed on top 8-5 in the top of the fifth after a run producing triple by Dawson Draper.
The Wolverines did close the gap to 8-7 in the home half of the fifth but the Rams put a lock on the win with a pair of runs in the sixth on an RBI triple by Hy and an error.
Hy finished with 3 hits and Kuzma 2.
Draper, Hy and Thomas Russo shared in the pitching duties.
