Rams, Raiders in semifinals Monday
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Roy-Hart’s Jake Bruning and his Rams teammates will host Wilson Monday in the semifinals of the Section VI Class B2 playoffs.
The Roy-Hart and Barker baseball and softball teams will all be involved in Section VI semifinal round playoff action on Monday.
The No. 2 seeded Roy-Hart baseball team will host Niagara-Orleans League foe No. 6 Wilson in a Class B2 at 5 p.m. at Gasport.
The two teams split a pair of N-O games this season with the Rams winning the first 19-1 and the Lakemen taking the re-match 5-1.
In Class B2 softball action the No. 5 Lady Rams will visit top seeded Fredonia at 4:45 p.m.
The contest is a rematch go last year’s B2 title contest which saw Fredonia down Roy-Hart 8-3.
The other B2 semi will have N-O champion No. 2 seed Akron hosting No. 3 Eden.
The No. 3 Barker baseball team will host No. 6 Silver Creek in a Class C semi at 5 p.m.
In Class C softball the No. 10 Lady Raiders will visit No. 2 Cassadaga Valley at 4:45 p.m.
