Rams edge Lakemen; Panthers, Tigers win

Avenging an early season 64-53 loss, Roy-Hart edged visiting Wilson 62-59 in a Niagara-Orleans League boys basketball game this evening.

Trailing 33-32 at the half, Roy-Hart used a 15-9 third period scoring edge to rally into a 47-43 lead at the three-quarter mark. Dan Aquilina scored 7 and Sam Brunning and Matt Aquilina both hit threes to key that Rams rally.

Brayden Ricker then scored 8 points in the final quarter to help the Rams lock up the win.

Rem Albee finished with 18, Dan Aquilina 15 and Ricker 12 to lead Roy-Hart which improves to 3-4 in N-O action.

Blake Martin scored 21, Aidan Neumann 15 and Ryan Hough 11 for Wilson which slips to 2-5.

Newfane 55, Albion 34
Building up a 32-15 half-time advantage, Newfane went on to defeat visiting Albion 55-34 to stay unbeaten at 6-0 in N-O competition.

Ben Dickinson had 21 points and 10 rebounds and Landon Braman 9 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Panthers.

Blake Preston scored 11 and Wesley Olles 10 to pace Albion.

Akron 68, Barker 59
Akron improved to 7-1 in N-O action with a 68-59 home court win over Barker which slips to 2-5.

Ben Gerstung scored a game high 21 to lead Akron as Brale Abrams added 13 including three threes.

Luey Castro and Aidan Mescall both scored 17 for Barker.

Letchworth 68, Lyndonville 27
Letchworth downed host Lyndonville 68-27 in a non league contest.
