The Roy-Hart baseball team ended a six decade long title drought this past week by capturing the Niagara-Orleans League championship for the first time since 1953 by compiling a 12-2 record. Roy-Hart’s 1953 team shared the title with Lew-Port after the Rams had captured the N-O crown outright in 1952. That last previous title year was well remembered as here the Rams pose for a team picture with the 1953 championship trophy after posting a 2-1 win over Newfane to cap off the league title campaign.
