Rams blank Mustangs in N-O soccer

An early two goal scoring burst sparked Roy-Hart to a 3-0 victory over visiting Medina/Lyndonville this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game.

Roy-Hart grabbed quick 1-0 lead when Trent Choate scored just 7:45 into the game.

The Rams quickly made it 2-0 as Jose Campos tallied just five minutes later off a direct kick by Aidan Bligh.

Roy-Hart later put a firm lock on the victory when Bligh scored off an assist from Ethan Lindke with 12:39 remaining in the second half.

Colby Hancock earned the shutout in goal for Roy-Hart. He made a key stop of a penalty kick late in the first half to preserve the shutout.

Roy-Hart improves to 2-1 in the league while Medina/Lyndonville slips to 1-2.

Wilson 2, Akron 1
Wilson remained in sole possession of first place by edging Akron 2-1 as the Lakemen stay perfect at 3-0.

Kierson Skobjak and Drew Kepner scored the goals for Wilson.

Akron drops to 0-3 in N-O action.
