Rams and Tigers bow in tourney openers
Roy-Hart dropped an 84-47 decision to Hornell in the opening round of the Olean Tournament this evening.
Jamel Johnson Jr. scored 21, Rem Albee 11 and Dan Aquilina and Jackson Webber 6 each for the Rams which trailed 38-17 at the half.
Roy-Hart will face Westfield in the consolation game Saturday.
Lyndonville lost 78-31 to the host Panthers in the first round of the Newfane Tournament.
Evan Myers took game high honors for Newfane with 16 and Mason Nicholson led Lyndonville wih 10.
Lyndonville will face Bennett in Saturday’s consolation game while Newfane will take on Lew-Port in the title contest.
