Rampage romps past Sandlot Saints Gold
Playing solid team defense, the Rampage beat Sandlot Saints Gold 11-1 by the mercy rule in 5 innings Wednesday in a Metro Girls Softball League game.
Offensively the Rampage banged out 15 base hits. Alyssa Mayers led the way with 3 hits. Ashley Hill, Samantha Choate, Hanna Sobieraski, and Isabella Schultz each had 2 hits. Jayden Townsend, Samantha Coakley, Emily Metz, and Elizabeth Luick each had 1 hit.
Choate went the distance in the circle giving up only 3 hits.
The win puts Rampage at 6-2 in the league.
