Looking to replace graduation losses at the three singles spots and at first doubles, Roy-Hart is prepping to open the Niagara-Orleans League tennis season at Wilson on Friday.
Seniors Vicrtoria Benner, Adam Clause, Erin Gow, William Johnson, Melanie Mikits and Anna Schofferle along with juniors Kelsey Eldridge, Stephanie Piggins, Mitchel Light, Denzel Flowers and freshman Elliot Spitzer return with varsity experience for the Rams.
Roy-Hart’s 30 member roster also includes senior David Turrel, juniors Francesca Bond, Deanna Catalano, Madison Dent, Jon Eggert, Jarod Shepard, Jamie Swick, Alejandra Touceda-Suarez and Seamus Tynah; sophomores Madeline Haenle, Quinn Moreland and Desree Taylor along with freshmen Emma Burns, Angelina Ciarfella, Quinn Gross, Rachel Hutter, Sam Koch, Nathan Mikoll and Gabby Santos.
“The biggest thing is realizing some benefits from the seniors we’ve worked with and developing our younger kids,” said Coach Doug Meyer.
Roy-Hart’s biggest losses to graduation were first team N-O All-League selection Brad Bobbitt and second team honoree Jeff Durbin.
The Rams went 3-9 in N-O action last spring.
