Mustangs, Eagles post shut outs

MIDDLEPORT – Snapping a three game losing streak, Roy-Hart blanked Holley 3-0 this evening in a non league boys soccer contest.

Roy-Hart jumped out to a 2-0 half-time advantage as Alex Stoddard scored off an assist from Will Johnson and then Lyle Wagner tallied on a free kick.

The Rams put a lock on the victory when David Brooks scored in the second half off an assist from Wagner.

Maine Walker earned the shut out in goal for Roy-Hart which earlier this season had defeated the Hawks 3-2 in the opening round of the Holley Tournament.

Medina 5, CSAT 0
BUFFALO – Getting goals from four different players, Medina blanked CSAT 5-0 to improve to 6-2-2 in Niagara-Orleans League action.

James Ianni scored off a corner and Ben Howell tallied off an assist from Scott Barber to give Medina a 2-0 half-time advantage.

In the second half, the Mustangs had Barry Rogenmoser score a goal from Ianni, Steven Anderson from Alex Murphy and Ianni on a penalty kick.

The loss drops CSAT to 2-8.

Medina next hosts Holley at 7 p.m. Friday in a non league game.

Kendall 3, Attica 0
KENDALL – Staying perfect at 13-0 on the season, Kendall blanked Attica 3-0 this evening in a Genesee Region League game.

Kendall led 1-0 at the half as Dan Miller scored off an assist from Will Condo.

The Eagles then broke the game open in the second half as Condo scored from Riley Igbal and Igbal tallied from Alex Sutphen.

Garret Love made five saves to earn the shut out in goal.

Akron 7, Wilson 0
WILSON – Putting a lock on the title, Akron blanked Wilson 7-0 this afternoon to stay perfect at 10-0 in N-O action.

Chris Mayrose scored four goals and Randy Mayer two to lead the Tigers.

The loss drops Wilson to 2-7-1.
