Rain washes out H.S. diamond schedule
It is a new month but the same soggy story in what to date has been a very wet spring as today’s rain has washed out this afternoon’s schedule of local high school diamond contests.
The Niagara-Orleans League Barker vs. Albion, Akron vs. Roy-Hart and Wilson vs. Newfane baseball lames have been postponed as have the Genesee Region League Lyndonville vs. Notre Dame and Holley vs. Byron-Bergen contests. The Albion vs. Barker game has been rescheduled for May 7.
In softball, the Albion vs. Barker, Roy-Hart vs. Akron and Newfane vs. Wilson N-O games have been postponed as have the Lyndonville vs. Byron-Bergen, Holley vs. Notre Dame and Pembroke vs. Kendall G-R contests. The Albion vs. Barker game has been rescheduled for May 16.
The local schedule of tennis matches is still on including Albion vs. Wilson, Akron vs. Newfane, Holley vs. Elba and Kendall vs. Byron-Bergen.
