Rain slows Albion Midget League action
Rain slowed Albion Midget League action last week as only one game was completed and two others suspended.
In the lone completed contest, Sandstone downed Elba 9-1.
A two-run single by Brayden LaMartina highlighted a four run first inning and a two-run double by Rocco Sidari keyed a four run second inning. Omer Fugate also had a pair of hits including a two-run double on the evening.
LaMartina and Drew Pritchard shared in the pitching duties combining for a one hitter.
The two suspended games have Carlton leading Barre 6-1 and Sandstone up on Barre 11-4.
