Raiders return veteran laden squad
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Boasting a large contingent of returnees, Barker will begin to tuning up for the Niagara-Orleans League boys basketball season with a pair of non league road games this coming week at Holland on Tuesday and at Elba on Thursday. The Raiders squad includes, in front, junior Luey Castro, senior Tim Dent, senior Dawson Donovan and senior Mason Allee-Castro. In back are senior Tommy Harris, senior Aidan Voss, senior Brad Cantrell, junior Jordan Leising, junior Aidan Mescall and senior Cameron Hefferon. Cantrell earned second team All-League honors last season as the Raiders posted a 4-8 N-O mark. Barker will open the N-O season at home on January 3 against Newfane.
