Streaking Barker edged past host Roy-Hart 7-6 in 8 innings this afternoon in a key Niagara-Orleans League baseball game.

Making it 6 wins in a row, Barker scored the game winner in the top of the eighth on a suicide squeeze by Kyle MacDonald as a walk and an error set up the opportunity.

The Raiders defense then preserved the win as Evan Ecker and Ryan Voss teamed up to turn a game ending double play in the bottom of the eighth.

The victory boosts Barker’s N-O record to 7-4 while Roy-Hart slips to 6-3 and into second place as Wilson (8-2) now holds first place alone.

Barker tied the game in the seventh inning on a two out RBI double by Collin Webb.

Roy-Hart had grabbed a 6-5 lead by scoring a pair of unearned runs in the fifth inning.

Preston Harris finished with 3 hits for Barker as Webb and Voss both had 2.

Webb also picked up the win on the mound hurling the final four and one-third innings.
