Raiders oust Mustang stickmen in semis
Building up a commanding 8-0 half-time advantage, No. 2 seed Eden went on to defeat visiting No. 3 Medina 13-4 this afternoon in the semifinals of the Section VI Class D lacrosse playoffs.
Eden led 4-0 after one quarter.
Christian Silversmith scored 2 goals for Medina as Mike Carson and Brendan Luthart each netted 1.
Medina, which also dropped 13-7 and 11-7 decisions to Eden during the regular season, finishes with a 10-7 overall record.

Fillmore nipped Kendall 3-2 in the Section V Class D tennis championship match.
Collin Lewis won at first singles for Kendall as did the Eagles second doubles team of Jenna LoSapio and Ryan Barrett.
