RAC cagers surge past Kendall

Moving on top to stay in the second quarter, Rochester Charter Academy went on to defeat host Kendall 82-48 this evening in a non league boys basketball game.

Trailing 19-17 after one quarter, RAC used a big 22-8 turnover aided second period scoring surge to open up a 39-27 advantage at the half.

Keeping the momentum, the Racers then outpointed the Eagles 21-12 in the third period to extend the advantage to 21, 60-39, at the three-quarter mark.

Albert Tomlin scored 25 and Daniel Garcia 23 to lead the way for RAC.

Mason Kuhn led Kendal with 23 as Derek Edick added 12, Dale Steffen and Zach Barrett 5 each and Riley Hirschman 3.

Now at 0-3, Kendall next visits Wheatland-Chili Wednesday in a Genesee Region League game.
