R-H/Barker/Medina icers win playoff opener
The Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club hockey team won their first playoff game Monday evening, defeating ELPS (Eden/Lake Shore/Pioneer/Springville) 2-0 at at the Cornerstone Arena.
After a scoreless initial period, Jason Kuchey scored unassisted at the 14:57 mark of the second. That score held up until very late in the final period when Drew Marsh added the insurance goal, assisted by Michael Kuchey.
RBM next faces Dunkirk-Fredonia this coming weekend.
