R-H/Barker/Medina icers make it 5 in a row
The Roy-Hart/ Barker/Medina Club Hockey team won its fifth straight game, beating Dunkirk– Fredonia 7-4 Saturday evening at Cornerstone Arena in Lockport.
RBM took the lead almost immediately on a goal by Luke Luckman (Barker) assisted by Jason Kuchey (R-H).
Dunkirk– Fredonia, however scored the next two goals for a 2-1 lead at the intermission.
Early in the second period, Dylan Krzykowski (Akron) scored unassisted to even the game. Drew Marsh (Akron) also scored unassisted giving RBM the lead, only to have D-F tie the game near the end of the period.
The final period was nearly all RBM as Matt Saj (Medina) scored, followed a short time later by Jason. Kuchey, assisted by brother Michael for the game winner.
Krzykowski and Luckman ended the RBM scoring with Michael. Kuchey picking up two assists on the final three goals.
Now 6-4, RBM’s next game is next Saturday evening against Olean at Cornerstone beginning at 7 p.m..
