R-H/Barker/Medina icers win streak snapped
A five game winning streak was snapped as the Roy-Hart/Barker/Medina Club Hockey team lost 5-3 to Canisius Wednesday evening in a Western New York Club Hockey League cross-division game.
Falling behind very early in the first period, RBM was able to tie the game at 1-1 on a goal by Michael Kuchey, assisted by his brother, Jason.
Canisius, however, did all the scoring in the next period and led 3-1 entering the final stanza.
RBM got two goals in the third period from Dylan Krzykowski with assists from Jason Kuchey (2), Michael Kuchey and Luke Luckman. However, those goals were matched by Canisius.
Now tied for second place in the White Division, RBM’s next game is against first place East Aurora/Holland on Friday, January 19th at the Cornerstone Arena in Lockport at 8 p.m.
