R-H grad earns Gold Glove Award at NCCC

Capping off an outstanding season both at the plate and in the field, Roy-Hart graduate and Niagara County Community College sophomore Shelby Wolf has been named to the inaugural NFCA National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Rawlings Gold Glove squad.

A first baseman, Wolf had 242 putouts, 13 assists, just two errors and a .992 fielding percentage this past season.

At the plate, she hit .438 with 19 doubles, 4 triples, 8 home runs and 62 RBI.

She has also been named to the first team on both the Western New York Athletic Conference and Region 3 All-Star squads.

Barker grad and NCCC sophomore infielder Sydnie Luckman was named the second team on the WNYAC All-Star squad.

She hit .317 on the season with 4 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run and 29 RBI.

Roy-Hart grad and NCCC sophomore McCarthy Lang has earned second team Division 3 All American golf honors.

She captured medalist honors at the recent Region 3 championship to earn a second straight trip to the national championships
