R-H grad earns All-American softball honors

Roy-Hart graduate Taylor Fry, who graduated from from Herkimer County Community College in May, has earned All-American softball honors.
Fry, an outfielder who helped lead the Herkimer Generals to a third place finish at the national championships, has been named to the NJCAA DIII Softball All-American First Team and to the NFCA NJCAA Division III All-American Team.
She also received the New Balance / NFCA Golden Shoe Award in recognition for her speed on the bases, having been caught stealing only once during the season. She is Herkimer’s first ever recipient of this award.
A Criminal Justice major who was named to the President’s List, Fry will continue her education and softball career at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pa. in the fall.
